Workplace Conduct Training & Risk Frameworks for
Financial Services Firms

We work exclusively with financial services firms.
-
Conduct Counsel provides tailored workplace conduct and culture training, and risk management frameworks, for financial services firms. Our training and tools are designed around the regulatory context that shape conduct expectations, including equality and anti-harassment standards, non-financial misconduct, and the FCA’s COCON, FIT and SYSC 18.
-
Training. We offer a customisable suite of e-learning and live courses that allow you to clearly communicate and embed the standards of your firm. Tailored by role level, with bespoke sessions for leaders and Senior Managers (SMFs). We go well beyond tick-box training: real, practical scenarios that equip your people to handle difficult situations with confidence, and messaging that builds a culture of respect.
-
Risk Assessments. We provide practical, tailored assessments on harassment and workplace culture that help you foster a culture of continuous improvement designed around the equality and regulatory landscape, including the preventative duties on harassment.
-
Policies & Frameworks. We help you turn your standards into clear, human, readable policies across whistleblowing, anti-harassment and dignity at work. Our focus is communication and culture: plain-English frameworks that express how your firm supports your teams and expects people to behave.

Conduct Counsel is founded by Alison Sneddon, a solicitor who is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). The services provided by Conduct Counsel are consultancy services and products on workplace culture, offering tools for firms to implement conduct and cultural standards throughout their teams. These services are not provided in the capacity of a solicitor or law firm and do not constitute regulated legal work. As such, the SRA minimum-terms for professional indemnity insurance, access to the SRA Compensation Fund and Legal Ombudsman complaint routes are not applicable. Instead, our services are backed by commercial liability insurance (details available on request), and if anything ever falls short of your expectations, we’d ask you to raise it with us directly through your dedicated client services contact so we can put it right.
